Recently, news of a data leak from the popular Turkish online food delivery platform YemekSepeti has made headlines. According to reports, a hacker gained access to the platform's database, which contained the personal information of around 20,000 users, including their names, email addresses, phone numbers, and delivery addresses.
The hacker responsible for the breach allegedly put the stolen data up for sale on a dark web marketplace. The sale price for the data was not disclosed, but the hacker claimed to have additional data from YemekSepeti's database that they would be willing to sell.
This is not the first time that YemekSepeti has faced security issues. In 2019, the platform was hit by a similar data breach, which affected more than 1.5 million users. YemekSepeti responded by implementing new security measures and offering free credit monitoring services to affected users.
